About The Author
Born in 1950, Wg Cdr DP Sabharwal joined the Indian Air Force in January 1972. He has published more than 20 technical papers and 100 articles in various national newspapers and magazines. He has authored 13 books, 7 professional and 6 on aviation-related subjects. His book 100 years of Aviation was released during the centenary celebrations of aviation in 2003. To his friends, he is an engineer by training, an aircraftsman by profession, a teacher at heart, and a writer by aptitude.
